Skin Health

DITCH THE MAKE-UP concealer, base, and powder should all be used minimally. Preferrably a sheer tinted moisturizer only should be used. If you have color imperfections, get those taken care of with prescription products, chemical peels, or laser treatments. Make up will only conceal color imperfections and it enhances surface irregularities like large pores , scars and wrinkles!!!! Trust me! You can test this at home by applying make up and powder to one side of your face.

ALWAYS APPLY ALL SKIN CARE PRODUCTS TO DAMP SKIN – I have been preaching this for 12 years but I am still amazed that women don’t know this. Moisturizers dont ADD moisture to your skin, they only TRAP moisture.

MEDICAL DERMAPLANING – this is the most fabulous thing you can do for your skin and get the biggest bang for your buck. Your skincare specilist will take a surgical blade and scrape away all the hair and dead skin from your face similar to the way old barbers shaved their clients. Don’t worry, you wont grow a beard back. You can maintain this treatment in between session by using a single-edged razor to shave at home. This allows your products to penetrate better, gets rid of peach fuzz, leaving glowing smooth skin, encourages skin turn-over and prevents crepy skin. If you havent ever had this done, make your appointment now! In our office its $50 when done alone or $25 as and add-on service.

CASTOR OIL MASK – great weekly mask for face, neck and chest to hydrate and eliminate wrinkles. Also mix with your eye cream for excellent correction of fine lines. I personally love castor oil and sleep in it overnight once a week.

Women love this treatment.

It is proven to reduce heart disease by reducing inflammation.

JOJOBA OIL – apply a small amount to the lower eyelids or mix with your eye cream before application. JoJoba oil is actually a wax, not an oil. Since it dries in the creases of the eyelid skin like a primer, it is more effective.
